PRP Injections For The Knee

As many of you probably remember, I had a knee injury about three and a half years ago. I remember it like it was yesterday. I had just finished the Manchester Road Race in the fall of 2019. I had a strange feeling in my left knee after the run, like it was numb. I thought it was odd, but the numbness would go away when I rested, or so I thought.

After I got home, like an idiot, I didn't do much resting. I remember going to the store and noticing my knee was starting to feel like it was on fire, and I could not stand on it. It was beginning to swell. I bolted out of the store as best I could and made it home.

Working Out With A Busy Schedule

As most of you can attest that are reading this, it’s not easy to get workouts in when you are full time, or family issues, or life’s stresses. My job has been crazy busy, and I am unable to make the gym as much as I want to.

But here’s the thing, I always get my workouts in, even if I only do strength training a few days a week, I still make it a priority. I also make sure I get my steps in each day. If there‘s one invention that has kept me in check all these years, it’s the Apple Watch, with it’s reminder to have me stand every hour.

Eleven years ago, my physical was very different, asI was morbidly obese and had hypertension. This year, my blood pressure was 110/68 and my lab work was awesome!

Dr.Brooke Goldner Proves Auto Immune Diseases Can Be Reversed

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Brooke Goldner. I have been following her story for years and thought my podcast followers would want to learn more about her.

Dr. Goldner once had lupus, back when she was just 16 years old. Doctors would tell her it would only get worse and would shorten her life. But Dr. Goldner had a positive attitude and never let the diagnosis slow her down.

Who Would Rather Be On Meds Than Be On A plant Based Diet?

I get it, change is hard. Sometimes, it may look too daunting of a task to completely change a diet. But, once you go whole food plant based, you begin to realize it’s not a diet but a lifestyle change.

I have a few friends and family members who say they would rather not change and stick with the side effects of the meds. This is completely the opposite of the way I feel. I would rather not have to rely on a pill to keep me going, knowing that the pill is not curing the problem but only masking the symptoms.
