Things are moving along! Day 3 of the 8 day jumpstart period completed!

What better way to prove my progress than to take photos of the scale!  It is easy to log and post my weights... but how would you know truth from fiction? I missed photos of the first two days but from here on out I will have photos of the scale every day.  Let's hope it keeps going down! With the type of scale I have I cannot cheat it... it has balance indicators that will not log your weight if it detects that the person is shifting their weight on the scale and little arrows show up on the display to let you know you are cheating!  I love it.

If you are wondering, I use one of the Withings WS-50 Smart Body Analyzer scales and the data from the scale is loaded up to the Withings site.  I'm currently programming healthylivingct.com to be able to interface with smart scale data so if users want to share their progress and they have either one of the Withings or FitBit scales the data can be linked to their blog account.

Tonight, I put in another hour of the elliptical machine at the Bristol Planet Fitness.

Today's food intake:

Brunch

  • 2 eggs - scrambled mixed with half of bell pepper and 1 cup chopped green onions
  • Morton's Light salt

Lunch

  • Salad with cucumber, chopped red pepper two pinches of shredded 6 cheese mix and balsamic vinegar.
  • 2 small oranges

Dinner

  • 2 - 1/2 lb burger (no bun or bread) seasoned with Lemon Pepper and Chicago styled steak seasoning
  • 1 lb bag of frozen broccoli (cooked) with 1 tablespoon of margarine
  • Morton's Light salt

I drank 100 oz of water throughout the day broken up in many cups of green tea (with Truvia sweetener and cinnamon) or water straight up.

The jumpstart period is very boring but tolerable since I know there is a limited time to it. 5 more days and then I will be on the normal weight-loss phase of the diet. I still owe everyone a separate post mapping out the principles behind the weight-loss phase of the diet and I will get to it soon. Things have gotten a little crazy over the last two days!
