Do you have a goal for 2014? Is it SMART?

As Rich pointed out in his last post, goal setting is a key to success and achieving one goal can allow other goals to be met at the same time without much effort. So why don’t people achieve their goals? Well one reason is people are not correctly setting their goals. The simplest way to create good goals is to make your goals S.M.A.R.T.

S = Simple. Specific.

M = Measurable. Meaningful to you

A = Achievable. As if the change has already happened.

R = Realistic. Responsible

T = Towards what you want. Timed, give your goal an actual date because tomorrow never comes.

I would like to thank everyone for reading and liking my posts on here and I look forward to contributing more in 2014.

As we begin to celebrate the New Years, we are also going to be celebrating World Hypnotism Day on Saturday January 4th. For anyone who has picked up the latest edition of the Middlebury Bee-Intelligencer you may have seen the article on page 4 about World Hypnotism Day and my practice. For those who haven’t seen it I am holding a special open house at my office on Saturday January 4th from 11am-4pm at 108 Church Street in Naugatuck. Stop in and learn all about the benefits of hypnosis and how it can help you. There will be tons of info and fun demonstrations and a great raffle!

Hope to see you all there. Have a Safe and Happy New Year.

Ryan
