I'm Working Hard Slowly Getting My Body Fat Percentage Down

It's not easy… my trainer wants me doing intense strength training exercises every other day. I feel stronger and I'm hoping my body fat percentage will go down.

My trainer wants my percentage to be about 13 or so. The last time he checked, I was around 19 percent. I don't think I can change my diet much more than I already have. My trainer thinks I eat very clean as it is, so I know it's the strength training that will bring the body fat percentage down.

I will have my body fat checked again on Monday. I hope I can report that the number went down. It's been a lot of hard work and it would be nice to hear that there's some improvement after all that!

I know I obsess about my abs a little too much, but after losing all the weight, I think I deserve to have a flat belly.I eat all the foods recommended for the flat belly, like almonds, leafy green vegetables, avocados, quinoa, etc. I also stay hydrated, which is an important factor when trying to tighten your skin.

I will also have a new workout on Monday. I've been doing a circuit type workout doing pull ups, push ups, sit ups, crunches, squats, etc. My trainer doesn't want me to get used to the same workout for too long.

If I was smart, I would have measured my belly before I started the strength training. When you are waiting for results, it's tough to see if there's much difference! I guess that's why it's good my trainer checks my body fat every month. I'll let you know how it goes on Monday!

Here's a helpful video that explains some facts about loose skin after weight loss.
